Uniformes de la Armada Nacional de Colombia
Los uniformes de la Armada Nacional de la Republica de Colombia representan la historia, la disciplina y el compromiso de los hombres y mujeres que han servido al país desde el mar. Cada prenda refleja el grado, la función y las responsabilidades de quienes integran la institución naval. En este módulo se exhiben diferentes uniformes utilizados por oficiales y suboficiales de la Armada a lo largo de su carrera militar. Entre ellos se encuentran el uniforme de Suboficial Tercero del ARC Gloria, el uniforme utilizado hasta el grado de Suboficial Segundo, el uniforme caqui de Suboficial Jefe y el correspondiente a Sargento Mayor, grados que representan experiencia, liderazgo y dedicación al servicio naval.
La muestra también incluye uniformes de oficiales de la Armada Nacional, destacando el tradicional uniforme caqui de servicio y las prendas de gala utilizadas en ceremonias y actos protocolarios.
Como parte de la exhibición, los visitantes podrán apreciar los uniformes de Contralmirante y Almirante, máximas jerarquías de la institución, así como el traje de Almirante femenino, reflejo de la participación y liderazgo de la mujer en la historia naval colombiana. Esta colección permite conocer la evolución de la indumentaria militar naval y comprender cómo los uniformes se han convertido en símbolos de honor, identidad y tradición dentro de la Armada Nacional de Colombia.
Uniforms of the Colombian Navy
The uniforms of the Colombian Navy represent the history, discipline, and commitment of the men and women who have served the country from the sea. Each garment reflects the rank, role, and responsibilities of those who make up the naval institution. This exhibit showcases various uniforms worn by Navy officers and non-commissioned officers throughout their military careers. Among them are the uniform of Third Petty Officer of the ARC Gloria, the uniform worn up to the rank of Second Petty Officer, the khaki uniform of Chief Petty Officer, and that of Master Sergeant—ranks that represent experience, leadership, and dedication to naval service.
The exhibition also includes uniforms of National Navy officers, highlighting the traditional khaki service uniform and the dress uniforms worn at ceremonies and formal events.
As part of the exhibition, visitors will be able to view the uniforms of Rear Admiral and Admiral, the highest ranks in the institution, as well as the female Admiral’s uniform, reflecting the participation and leadership of women in Colombian naval history. This collection offers insight into the evolution of naval military attire and helps visitors understand how uniforms have become symbols of honor, identity, and tradition within the Colombian Navy.
