Batería de San Felipe
La Batería de San Felipe fue creada para fortalecer el sistema defensivo de Cartagena de Indias durante la época colonial. Esta estructura hacía parte del conjunto de fortificaciones construidas por los españoles para proteger la ciudad de ataques piratas y enemigos extranjeros.
Gracias a su ubicación estratégica, la batería ayudaba a vigilar la entrada marítima y apoyar la defensa del puerto. Además, utilizaba artillería y cañones para reforzar la seguridad de la bahía. Por esta razón, tuvo un papel clave dentro de la defensa militar de Cartagena.

The San Felipe Battery was created to strengthen the defensive system of Cartagena de Indias during the colonial period. This structure formed part of the fortifications built by the Spanish to protect the city from pirates and foreign enemies.
