Pedagogical room “Underwater Adventure: An Invisible Hero”.
The exhibition “Underwater Adventure: An Invisible Hero” presents the defense system built around the Bocagrande breakwater to the children of the city of Cartagena in an interactive way.
This room seeks to offer a tour through the history of the fortifications to understand the crucial role they played in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in the protection of the city. It also highlights the importance of these fortifications in the cultural sustainability of Cartagena and raises awareness about the danger currently facing the Bocagrande breakwater.
Aimed at students from third grade of elementary school to seventh grade of junior high school.
Details of the visit:
Groups: Maximum of 40 students per group
Activities included: Tour of the exhibition “Submarine Adventure: An Invisible Hero” and visit to the two rooms of the permanent collection of the Naval Museum.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Schedule: Visits are previously scheduled in coordination with the educational institution.
